Ten Things Which Are Wonderful

  • Having a day off
  • My wife's cooking
  • Being greeted by the dogs which love you unconditionally
  • Preaching to people who are actively listening
  • NPR
  • Football season
  • Freshly cut grass
  • Laser printers
  • A sunny Fall day
  • Office supply stores

Yes, I'm feeling very blessed today. What ten things are you thankful for in this moment?

Umm ... laser printers?

Okay, so that's partly the power of suggestion, since the laser printer is right next to the computer screen.
But I do love my laser printer. There was a time when things were so tight at church that I had to think about printing stuff because ink jet cartridges are so ridiculously expensive. Last year I got the laser. I buy a $60 toner cartridge every 2-3 months, and print a ton of stuff. Thousands of copies. And they're really gorgeous--much sharper than ink jet. Yes, I am waxing rhapsodic about a laser printer. I'm hoping it's joy in the ordinary, and not a serious pathology. :)
